Our current state of affairs has been predicated upon us by a tyrannous base of power; the majority of which, unelected debutants; ravenously aiming to break the lower and even middle classes. We find ourselves at the dawn of disparities unseen even at the peak of aristocracy. Meanwhile, our very sources of information (any and all parts of the media) are owned by these tyrannical factions; be they media tycoons, technology czars, sales leaders, investors, financial managers, politicians and few other professions; not excluding inheritance beneficiaries. By way of this ownership, media manipulation and provocation run rampant, pitting ignorant masses against each other for petty and meaningless differences; deeming the populous powerless to form thought enough to organize against the powers that actually oppress them. Simultaneously, the financial elite and lawmakers conspire to narrow further and further the very principles that our country was supposedly built on.
But alas, America was never a democracy; and any resemblance to one is quickly being destroyed. From our inception we’ve laid the groundwork for an autocratic plutocracy. Power only has one true source and that is wealth. While there are few who have risen financially from the bottoms to find great successes, even fewer have found themselves in a position of power before rising financially. Much of “the west” has modeled itself after this structure. Capital should not be the basis for social equity, but this is how it seems. As such, power is mainly disseminated to the poor through revolutionary means, whether in the U.S. or Europe. Therefore, only by fighting the powers that be, can there be change in society’s laws, views or practices that will benefit the bottom classes.
Power is being consolidated covertly and unceremoniously. The wealthy are privy; from birth; to the best education, protection, and opportunity based entirely on the family they were born into. These discrepancies are not earned. A child is taught from its first breath where he/she stands in society by the opportunities he/she is offered or excluded from. Prisons are filled with men and women whose biggest mistake was to be born poor.
With this, America is a nation of discrimination and always has been. Racial discrimination has spread from Afro-centric to Middle Eastern and Hispanic hate. The Irish and Italian races, once largely despised, have enjoyed a blossoming acceptance to the “white race”, illustrating past widespread hatred. Asians were once removed from society. The LGBTQ community has always been a target of hate. Women have also struggled against stereotypes, belittlement and disempowerment. These discriminations, through time have morphed into a form of classism, still endowed with the same old hatreds of the past. We’ve moved from inequity on the basis of cultural bias to bias on the basis of economic and cultural disparity. When a bigoted person sees a person of any largely subjugated group of people, they may be more likely to comment on their perceived lack of class or decency than their race or social group, at least that is, in public. This goes especially if said person is in an act of rebellion against their own oppression, and said oppression benefits the bigot. Of course, all of this affects the poor the most, no matter their cultural or societal identity.
Increasingly, corporate measures and manipulations augment prices for everything from housing to medicine to food etcetera, siphoning capital from the bottom to the top of society, to those who for the most part have already been offered the best opportunities based on their economic standing at birth. Taxes cripple the bottom rungs of our economy, who carry the brunt of the burden, augmenting big business and the elite as well as foreign military actions.
Tariffs are merely another form of market manipulation, proliferating profits for the mega rich. When the market fluctuates low, the rich have the power to buy and buy fruitfully as lower classes cannot bear the burden of investment. Losses are absorbed by many, but as the market steadies, billionaires are in a much better standing to absorb fluctuations, further invest and win in the long run. Their proximity to policy makers and power brokers helps too. Tariffs will have a negative impact on U.S. prosperity. They will not bring jobs. The U.S. dollar being the Petro Dollar cripples our ability to export domestic goods in that those goods are exponentially more expensive to foreign consumers. Tariffs only serve to increase prices domestically while ensuring profits for multinational corporations, none of which will go to the workers. They will also; for a time; serve to make room for the tax breaks and dispersal of wealth to the top echelons of society as previously outlined.
Government cuts are happening at a precipitous rate under the guise of spending cuts. Most of these programs and agencies serve to protect the community from governmental indiscretions. While there is tremendous waste in all political endeavors, there are far less harmful ways to rid ourselves of said waste. Billionaires hold the keys to greater fortunes in the name of disparity and they’re using them more now than ever, in furtherance of said waste and disparity. Over the prior four years of Trump’s presidency, billionaires were lavished with tax breaks and promised more to come. These tax breaks cannot be supported without a great decrease in expenditure. Why would Trump not rid the government of any and all opposition or guardians of our manufactured notions of democracy in order to steal the necessary funds to maintain handouts to the highest class? Trump and Musk created a whole department in DOGE to do just that.
Meanwhile, asset Management firms like Blackrock and Vanguard exist unchecked to control the lion’s share of wealth globally, in turn they coerce governmental policy through lobbying and financial threats. These entities have no interest in human rights. Their only intent is to capitalize from a growing profit margin as mandated by corporate charters and allocate resources to the top. Resources that could be used to bolster the many rather than the few.
We find ourselves witness to an attempt at an overhaul of any semblance of normalcy or freedom. Fascism lurks dangerously close on the murky horizons of our future. Fascist movements feed off discontent within a populous, exploiting created differences between factions of said populous. Tyrannous powers eliminate threats through unjust arrests, deportations and legal quagmires. Hitler moved his captives all over to other nations around Europe just as Trump has begun moving his dissidents to prisons in other nations without due process. Trump endorses sending natural born citizens to these places as well. To what end?
Today, neighborhoods exist in America that remain empty for their over-exorbitant pricing, even for the rich. Sometimes they exist adjacent to unfinished affordable communities. Take Hudson Yards in NYC, an empty 25-billion-dollar neighborhood next to an abandoned railyard previously reserved to be used for an affordable community. Why are we spending billions to cater to the already rich while at the same time taking from the under advantaged? This, a class already oppressed and subjugated by the rich. Take the sprawling condos in Las Vegas looking out over recently displaced impoverished droves in shabby tenements or the mansions in L.A. walling out racially segregated, poverty-stricken areas. In each case the poor suffers police harassment, discrepancies in education, poor housing conditions and the inability to subside financially because of the quashing of lucrative blue collar or otherwise attainable jobs. Some of these communities were once well to do neighborhoods for professionals, even in the times of mass segregation. But even as legal segregation subsided, other derisive tactics progressed. There are many other examples throughout the country where the poorer communities suffer at the hands of the wealthy. Seldom are jobs attained in gentrified communities by the displaced who formerly resided there. Even positions that are brought into poorer communities are usually filled by family members or cohorts of the owner, such as in corner stores or liquor stores. In many occasions the business is bolstered by grants unavailable to members of the original population.
All this, while our interventionist policing of the world only draws more enemies. There’s talk of building an adult amusement park where Palestine once stood. We caused an inevitable war between Russia and Ukraine in conjunction with Nato and the UN in their efforts to extend borders and create military outposts in Russia. Actions that no reasonable nation would accept. Now we’ve flip flopped on Ukraine, sinking them deeper into their war than if we had never spent hundreds of billions of dollars to bolster their efforts.
Unions are now being dismantled to create an atmosphere of loyalty to our Great Leader(s). Disloyal heads of government departments are being replaced. Sweepstakes are being held to undermine candidacies for supreme court judges. Automobile vandals are being hunted for prosecution while violent radicals of deeper threat enjoy little consideration. Our country is sinking itself into economic decay. Actions are being taken by our government to censor private universities in their education policies. The police are being militarized against the citizenry.
We could have been a better example of a republic had we not allowed the same factions to rule us as have ruled the world throughout human history. The very symbols of this supposed free land share similarities with all great kingdoms or empires, be they good or evil. Eagles, the colors of our flag, stars etcetera have all been used by many empires from the romans to the nazis. We are disillusioned by tools of control at our own despair. The many parties, stances and policies fill our minds eye to insanity. It’s all trickery. There is no need for a governance to control us to our own demise. Absolute anarchy could achieve that much quicker, without the drawn out suffering we bear witness to today.
There was never any need for us to be a global police state except to support capitalistic endeavors that have now grown so big that their existence hinders the common person. Profiteers dictate military actions spurring rational hatred in every corner of the world. This should be stopped.
Tax breaks should be disseminated based on a company’s effective betterment of humanity. They should never in any way deride the well-being of any community, foreign or domestic. Further, any tax breaks given to corporate interests should be available to small businesses as well, all of which must meet standards to prove their effectiveness in the betterment of life for the common people. No longer should tax breaks be given with a promise of returns later. Taxes should no longer be greatly the responsibility of the poor. Tax dollars should be pulled from unnecessary military actions and departments and disseminated to education, social services and the working populous. Also, the wealthy should no longer benefit from unreasonable tax breaks, thereby spreading the burden more fairly.
There should be no such thing as corporate charters demanding exponential increases in profit yearly. There can be no way to humanize a labor force if their very employment depends on decimals in a profit margin. A corporation should have no access to human rights as they irrationally do, if they cannot provide human decency and security for their labor force.
No longer should every act have a profit motive. Vegetation could be planted in public areas for use by any member of a community. Local procurement of lumber and other resources would bring down costs for everyone. The rich would have no need for greed if everything was made cheap through rational acts, for the dollar of the wealthy would go farther as well.
Subsidies should only exist out of absolute necessity for the populous, not for the prosperity of a business or industry. If petroleum gets subsidized, then wind should get the same subsidies. If this is impossible no one should get said subsidies. This would save tax dollars and/or encourage competition. For a further example, if a person wants a pineapple in NYC, they should pay for its transport. This money should not come from tax subsidies to support a fruit industry.
Trillions of dollars are spent in “the war on drugs”. We now have designer drugs and prescription pills never before seen decimating populations. We’re obviously losing the war. We only serve to bolster cartels and other drug tradesmen by fighting this nonsensical war. Portugal stands as a great example. They’ve decriminalized their drugs; provided associated healthcare, job placement and treatment; and have saved billions in the process. This while many have adjusted from junkies back to viable members of society. It can only work if the nation as a whole can change. As we’ve seen in the northwest, if only a part of the country concedes they’re deluged with dealers and junkies, only rewarding the gangs, cartels and other criminal organizations.
Politicians should have no interest in stocks, except to ensure fairness. If they can’t live within the means of a fair and generous, taxpaid salary then how is the majority expected to live whilst most are making less than them. The whole purpose of their jobs is to make it easier for their constituents. Shouldn’t this be their expectation? After a limited term, politicians may do what they please. But proximity to brokers and the like makes it all too profitable to cheat while in office. Why allow it?
A good education should not be accessible to only those at the top rungs of our society. How can a child be expected to succeed with outdated books on top of underpaid teachers and run-down facilities? Each teacher’s salary, no matter the district should start at the same rate(adjusted for cost of living in a given school district). Each child should receive an opportunity for an education at the same level as the next. Why would a good teacher teach in the dregs when they get paid more to teach the already privileged? Why would an intelligent student in a poor community apply himself when seeing 10 plus years old books, teachers that don’t care in sub-par buildings and the unfair advantages given to his/her richer neighbors? Equalize the opportunity for every American.
Measures should be taken to police communities, at least in large part with members from said communities. Law enforcement should be a more inclusive and communicative force to citizens. Private training for officers should never include prejudiced or fear-based propaganda aimed at any portion of any community. Also, police should be more empowered to make actual positive changes in the communities that they serve. This can happen through the reallocation of funds from unnecessary and indulgent devices of torture to community outreach and the like.
This society has been split by manipulative governmental regimes that propagate hatred to fatten their wallets and increase their power. We are not an uncaring people as a whole, but people starve just feet away from our furnished, air-conditioned homes. We pay for bombs, drones and missiles that annihilate others all over the world. We are tricked into discriminating against our neighbors for threat of loss of security, wealth or image. Meanwhile the rich get fatter but fewer.
The author takes no defined political stance or affiliation, nor do they claim any position of significance anywhere. This writer is aware that they are not exceptional in their intelligence. Our position is only that obvious endeavors could be taken to fix a great deal of problems that our community faces. We see billions of dollars going to bomb Houthi rebels, install parasitic businesses in already starving nations, Futuristic assassinations, elaborate parades and other spectacles, deporting dissidents, militarizing police, etcetera and it looks more like a fascist state by the day. The writer supports no party over the other. Both “parties” are guilty of their own forms of chicanery. This is meant to radicalize you. Radicalize you not to violence but to thought.
Thought is harmless; political violence ravages all, from the poor to the rich; white to black, gay, straight, political or not. This violence has been perpetrated by those in power since the dawn of man. It’s elemental to the success of our society as it stands. But it is necessary to realize when such violence has been perpetrated against you and when you’ve perpetrated this violence against others. It’s necessary to abstain support to any and all intentional perpetrators of said violence by any means necessary.
The easiest means would be the discontinuation of support to as many corporate entities as possible. Most have no choice but to buy provisions at corporate grocers or purchase automobiles and the like. However, none of us need multiple brand-new televisions, one in every room or a new car every year. Measures must be taken to limit the profitability of big money. Using repaired televisions and other appliances, buying older cars, primarily supporting independent local grocers, wearing locally made garments, supporting farmer’s markets, consignment shopping en masse would all help to lead to a weakening of our corporate overlords. Convert vehicles to biodiesel to avoid the usage of oil and the bolstering of the oil industry and other creative measures.
Rallies and other forms of opposition are a great start at direct protest. Though it seems obvious that a revamping in the forms of protest is necessary. Protests have become broad and overwhelmingly convoluted. There are rare cases where the protest in the form of large mobs are brought to the doorstep of industry or government. A good example is the blockading of Tesla. In this case a direct target was identified, and relatively peaceful chaos was wrought, bringing media attention and the dissemination of information. This needs to happen more, targeting specific oppressors for specific reasons.
Further, money must be wasted, things must be damaged. We do not condone any action that would put any life at risk, good or evil. However, we condone property damage. Like demonstrations, destruction of important or expensive property attracts media attention, providing an opportunity to spread a message and instill idealistic support. Added spectacle to said damage provides a greater opportunity for attention. Direct confrontations are tantamount as long as no action or threat is levied against an individual’s safety. The forced and public confrontation with the truths of their actions can illicit not only support for your cause but change as well.
Art, provisions, shelter, love etcetera must be shared amongst like-minded individuals aimed at annihilating oppression, for rallies and actions cannot be done by traditional groups or means as was done by our forbearers. Communal living is a great means for this as it gathers individuals, each of which perhaps having their own outside community to spread ideas to from within. But any group with a delineated membership will be infiltrated, as in the past, and subsequently destroyed. So, while information is being spread, we must support the soldiers spreading good information and the ones willing to do something about it, without the formation of an umbrella organization.
The aim is to force the powers that be as defined in the first chapter to fairly share the wealth and opportunity that is abundant in our society but so tightly hoarded by the few. This can be done by way of equal economic opportunity, fairly priced goods and services, a discontinuation of any and all oppression, an end to global wars supported by our tax dollars, humane treatment of any and all individuals regardless of race, wealth or orientation, equal education, food rights, etcetera. Otherwise, we foresee a total separation of the classes. In absence of our manufactured delineations, perhaps the lower classes would form a community based on thoughtful cooperation rather than wealth. No longer though, would those of said class fruitlessly toil for the rich. No longer would the majority allow the top echelons profit from their overpriced commodities or underpaid labor. There would be no need. This could only be achieved through the mighty hand of a great and violent revolution, the likes of which this writer aims to avoid.
Politically, I’d urge any and all to seriously consider who for and if they vote in federal elections. Instead, I’d urge you to be heard through action as there are few federal candidates who have a remaining shred of decency. When given a viable 3rd party, vote for them. Participate in local elections. Get yourself or other individuals elected locally to work through the system and foster positive changes. Sometimes local council seats or other lower positions sit empty; one could run unopposed and work to endeavor change.
Spiritually, I’d encourage anyone to fight outside the obvious parameters to usher in the changes necessary for the freedoms supposedly promised to us by our forefathers. Don’t let anyone forget those promises. The oppressors should have to live, scared but unscarred to witness their falls from favor. We shall not allow ourselves to waver in the lecherous grips of aristocracy any longer. We the people are the greatest threat when unincumbered by manufactured hate amongst ourselves and focused on the well-being of the masses.
We find ourselves at a fork in the proverbial road. Our actions don’t need to be guided by isms anymore. The people must wake up and realize their folly in handing over their autonomy in exchange for mass produced bullshit in the form of garbage food, toys and hysteria. We can create a more perfect union before we become alien to ourselves. Free your thoughts. Don’t follow despotic, totalitarian principles. Break the law for the good of our people.
MANIFEST
Let’s engulf ourselves in flames tonight
We’ll set fire to the wind
Let’s engage in madness
heaps of clover, weed and gin
Why don’t we erect an effigy
to the pillars of the fringe
Do away with the conformists
let them wallow, cuss and cringe
For dragons walk with us my friend
in this march toward glory
One day the crisp sea breezes
will softly tell our story
and we will rise the heroes
us, the rebels and the bastards
reigning a soft stale victory
when we dispatch our masters
We the rotten losers
deep in dungeonous dismay
The homeless alien addicts
who chose to lose their way
enclothed in golden garb
armed with only our illusions
as well as rot-gut whiskey
good dick and our delusions
We the chosen freaks
clamoring for honesty
will gather in the pulpits
and be offered only modesty
and that’s fine
I won’t be seated
I won’t be engaged
I won’t be fooled
I won’t feel
I won’t
I will not stand
eat
die
or listen
I won’t fight
I already did
and it fucked me
I won’t hear you
You won’t
lie to me
You can’t
convince me
You’re
only
me
we
….I was thinking about freedom again
and how it’s not real
How can anything
defined
as anything
be
truly free?
And,
how can
girl, boy, rich, poor, healthy, dead
be free?
Indian, musket, domino, Jew
be free?
Republicans are democrats are socialists are death
Communists are furry bunnies who scramble to create reason
Christ was a dinosaur
and none of this makes sense
or matters
because it all misrepresents the label
of love
So how can you be free when defined
by an outsider
against your will
in perpetuity
forever?
How can you be real
when given imaginary pretext?
How can you be happy?
….. I don’t want to die defined
stamped
used
chained
and plundered
I don’t want to die a cliché
You can clamor
You can fight
You can die for your labels
I
I yearn for truth
and I don’t want to
die a dumbass
